Traditional Chinese Medicine
A microcosm within the macrocosm

TCM is focused on the whole person with the aim to resolve the root cause of the disease, as well as the main symptoms. No part of the body can be separated from the total. Each part of our body must work in harmony with the others to achieve a healthy balance. If an organ is affected, then an imbalance affects the other organs. Some systems will be depleted (deficiency), others too full of energy (excess).

TCM is used for both preventative and healing purposes. If we read the signals from a person's energy structure, we will be able to give the 'Achilles heel' support to the weaker system before an illness or trauma takes place and, in turn, strengthen the entire system.

TCM leads us to take responsibility for our health through the laws that control energy. It is an invitation to self-observation through self-diagnosis, so as to become aware of our predisposition to certain diseases.
TCM uses several techniques:

-
Acupuncture (acupressure and auriculotherapy)
-
Moxibustion or TDP infrared mineral lamp
-
Cupping
-
Nutrition according to the 5 elements
-
Chinese herbalism
-
Tui-na (massage)
-
Gua Sha (scraping massage)
-
Qi Gong
